In our 2nd grade classroom, scholars are building strong foundations for reading and writing, as well as a rock-steady sense of numbers and mathematical concepts. Furthermore, our scholars spend time exploring the natural world as they delve into the world of science.

MEET THE TEACHER

Shelley Pelote  

Mrs. Pelote received her B.S. in Education from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA. She has been teaching for over 10 years. Before coming to F. H. Jenkins, she taught multiple grades from 1st thru 4th, at James E. Sampson Elementary School in Ft. Pierce, FL. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Pelote remained at home raising four beautiful children, now adults, along with being the wife of Dr. Edward Pelote. Her passion is teaching, inspiring, and challenging children to love learning.
