Dr. Summer Wood has been an educator for over 15 years, having worked in both the public and private sectors. Over the course of her career, she has worked as an elementary literacy teacher, instructional coach, and educational consultant. Dr. Wood received her Ph.D from Vanderbilt University, where her research interests centered on critical literacy, with an emphasis on the reading experiences of young Black male readers. In addition, she has published multiple articles on the topic of critical literacy. 
In an effort to continue to be a part of the training of our future and current teaching force, she has also worked as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt and Lipscomb Universities.

Autumn Lewis is a dedicated and experienced educator and administrator with over two decades of service at F.H. Jenkins Preparatory School. With a strong background in elementary education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, she specializes in mathematics and science instruction, student-centered learning, and classroom management. As a leader in STEAM education, she co-founded the school's STEAM program, coordinated science & STEAM fairs, and the annual STEAM Week of Prayer. A doctoral candidate in educational administration, Mrs. Lewis is committed to fostering innovative learning environments and enhancing academic excellence through strategic program development and teacher training.

Corey N. Bean is an accomplished Project Manager with eight years of experience in project management, business logistics analysis, and process improvement. With a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing business processes, Corey excels in strategic planning, budget management, and cross-functional team leadership. His expertise in cost control, risk management, and quality assurance has contributed to the successful execution of multimillion-dollar projects. Holding an MBA in Finance & Supply Chain Management from Tennessee State University, Corey is dedicated to driving impactful solutions and fostering organizational growth. Corey is also a proud graduate of F. H. Jenkins Preparatory School.

Valerie Reid serves as the Chief Financial Officer at F. H. Jenkins Preparatory School, overseeing budgeting, financial planning, payroll, and funding for key projects. With over 20 years of experience in finance — primarily in the non-profit sector — and holding both a BBA and MBA, Valerie is dedicated to ensuring the school’s resources are strategically managed to support its mission of developing courageous leaders. She is honored to work alongside the leadership and staff, stewarding funds in a way that empowers students to make a lasting impact on their communities and the world.
